What an amazing rock formation on Pfeiffer Beach, attracting so many people to see the light show as sunlight streams through the door-shaped hole at its center. I was excited and amazed as it put on its light show, culminating with the setting sun. When you go to Big Sur, California make Pfeiffer Beach one of your stops. Do get there early and bring your patience, as the parking lot fills early.

My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera.
