Artist's Description
What a picturesque cove, near Santa Cruz, California ... with the edge of the cliff all green and wild flowers popping through to catch the sun. The shark fin-shaped sea stack dominates the cove, and waves swirl around it. A sunset sky tops the scene for a beautiful finish to the day.
The first version was published Apr 19, 2017, using Lightroom; with this version I used Lightroom for the initial RAW processing and Photoshop for blend, tone, color and effects.
About John Hight
My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera.
