Reaching for the Sun: Looking straight up at these giants you get a sense of their great height ... nearly 380 ft. These coastal redwood trees reach for the sun, and at times they appear to be higher than the sun.
About John Hight
My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera.
