This waterfall, located in a tropical rain-forest on the Big Island of Hawaii, has a 442-foot drop set against lush foliage. In the morning hours when the sun rises high enough to shine on the canyon base, a rainbow will appear in the mist of the beautiful waterfall.
About John Hight
My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera.
