The setting sun comes early where Kings Creek winds its way through the Upper Meadow. Surrounded by volcanic mountains, Kings Creek and the Upper Meadow are radiant as the warm sun illuminates them, just before dipping behind the peaks. What an excellent way to end the day at Lassen.
My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera.
