Artist's Description
This is a beautiful glacial lake located at the head of a valley in the Trinity Mountains in northern California. The valley opens to the north, so it is protected from most wind ... giving it a mirror like appearance in the morning before any kayaks and other small boats arrive. It is such a peaceful spot to enjoy the birds singing and the fresh mountain air, as the sun illuminates the cliffs at the south end of the lake.

My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera.
