Artist's Description

The autumn color in the valley of McGee Creek, California was outstanding this year. This image was taken just below the McGee Creek Pack Station, looking up to Mt Aggie in the top right ... beautiful color could be seen running up its slopes. What a wonderful place for taking in the fall colors!

About John Hight

John Hight

My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera. I hope you enjoy my gallery and will want to take an image of this beautiful land into your home.
