Artist's Description

First Light on Lassen from Upper Meadow: I end this series of Lassen Volcanic National Park photos, with the beginning of a new day. Kings Creek runs through Upper Meadow, making it an ideal location for beautiful morning pictures of Mount Lassen bathed in light from the morning sun. Upper Meadow is just waking up with a touch of fog. I hope you have enjoyed this series.

About John Hight

John Hight

My passion is photography, and I love capturing the beauty of our world. This enthusiasm began when I took a college course in photography. After graduation, my career in engineering limited the time I could set aside for photography ... mostly weekends and vacations. Since my retirement from Intel Corporation in 2011, I have re-energized my devotion and taken up my career as an artist/photographer traveling to beautiful locations and capturing that magnificence with my camera. I hope you enjoy my gallery and will want to take an image of this beautiful land into your home.
